The concept of GASP came from the experience Sandy experienced as she moved into a development in Sosúa from Dallas, TX, where she imagined a luxurious and free lifestyle.

However, the reality was far from her expectations. The community management imposed strict and unreasonable restrictions. Sandy grew increasingly frustrated, but she soon realized that she wasn't alone. Other property owners in the same community shared her frustrations. They all longed for a luxurious and safe environment where they could truly be free. With her vision and the help of Dominican native builder Daniel Sosa this is where the concept of The Gasp was born - a community rooted in the belief of freedom of expression and founded on the ideals of peace, privacy, and luxury. The Gasp envisions combining a care-free modern lifestyle with self-sustainability.
